Two-thirds water. One-third land. All Universal.
International trip support can be extremely complex. Depending on where and when you’re traveling, a host of considerations arise: restricted airspace, security, landing permits, political upheaval, visa and customs issues, local protocol, language barriers, and more. At Universal®, we’ve addressed those considerations not only with experienced people and an extensive database of international information, but also by extending our global presence.
In 2001, we launched UVglobal Network® – the first network of its kind – to help ensure consistent quality in ground handling services worldwide. Now known as Universal Aviationsm, these ground support locations are strategically located in more than 50 countries. These locations adhere to service standards for client service, amenities, signage and identification, and English-speaking team members familiar with local culture and customs. Universal continues to establish regional operation centers to ensure a local trip support presence and perspective in supporting the highly specialized needs of operators based all over the world. Our global presence is also evident in the UVair® Fuel Program, which provides negotiated fuel pricing and other fuel-related services at locations near your home base and worldwide. Recognized for its acceptance and savings, the UVair Fueling Card allows more than 14,000 operators to purchase fuel from these supplier locations at discounted pricing.
In short, our global presence translates into global benefit for our clients. It positions us to know the world like no other provider. It enables us to handle most components of a trip with either our own resources or those of our team members. And ultimately, it gives us a greater ability to ensure the quality, consistency, and type of service our clients receive, virtually anywhere they fly.
