Universal Purchases Cornerstone Logic, Inc., adds FBO Manager
to its Product Offerings
Houston, TX (Aug. 31, 2006) – Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc. recently purchased software development company, Cornerstone Logic Inc., the creator of FBO Manager. Launched in 1996, FBO Manager is a software package that helps FBOs maximize profits and efficiencies and is one of the leaders in aviation management software, with more than 350 FBOs relying on it daily.
John Nelson, the founder of Cornerstone Logic, which will remain based in Edgewater, Fla., will remain with the company as Vice President.
"As Vice President, I will continue to lead product development, customer service and sales," said Nelson. "As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Universal®, Cornerstone Logic will utilize Universal's global resources and experience, which will benefit current clients by providing additional resources to Cornerstone Logic and FBO Manager such as 24/7 customer support and the addition of new software capabilities and products.
