    Compensation

    Universal offers a base pay that is externally competitive, internally equitable and tied to performance.  Universal provides employees with a total compensation package through a combination of salary, bonus opportunities, recognition awards and benefits.

    Health and Wellness

    Universal strives to provide a competitive health and wellness package for employees.  Employees and their families’ health is a priority for the company.   Below are highlights of the group benefits plans available to eligible employees.

    Medical

    Medical coverage assists with health necessities from wellness to catastrophic events.  The three options include Kelsey Care, Cigna Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP) and Open Access Plan (OAP).   All medical options include a prescription drug benefit.

    Dental

    Dental care is an important part of your overall health.  The Cigna Dental Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan allows you to choose an in-network or out-of-network dentist.

    Vision

    The company sponsors a vision program through Cigna.

    Retirement Plan (401k)

    New hires will be automatically enrolled (if eligible) to contribute pre-tax earnings into the plan.  You may opt out of contributing or change your deferral at any time.  Employees are 100% vested after 3 years of service.
